Bob Jamison served for 24 years as President of Family Guidance, Inc., one of the region’s strongest programs for at-risk youth and families. During his tenure, the organization bolstered its respected mentoring program, completed a $5 million capital expansion for its camping program for at-risk youth, and launched the state’s largest marriage-strengthening program.

Before coming to Family Guidance, Bob served in college administration at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh. He has a B.A. degree in communication from Carnegie Mellon, a marketing certificate from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Master’s Degree in Public Management from the Heinz School at Carnegie Mellon

Bob is co-founder of the Greater Pittsburgh Community Leaders Prayer Breakfast, Prayer Over Pittsburgh, and Pittsburgh Prayer Evangelism and has served on the Mayor’s Youth Policy Council and the advisory boards for The Pittsburgh Experiment, CityReachers, the Southwestern Pennsylvania Mentoring Partnerships, and the National Fatherhood Initiative, Friends of Propel Charter School, Gang Free Schools Steering Committee for the Pittsburgh Public Schools, and Urban Impact Foundation. His life and ministry are highlighted in The Story Behind the Success: Learning from Pittsburgh Professionals. He has traveled in mission to Mexico, Argentina, England, and Brazil.
